 Biography

Dr. Suresh K Kalangi, currently institute of Physics, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Kalangi have obtained Ph.D. from University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, India for Developing the platform of Quantum dot based imaging system for tracing of drug candidates in-vitro and in-vivo.


Dr. Kalangi has expertise in device making for diagnostics, cell-cell communications and various Drug screening platforms through interdisciplinary approaches like Optics, Nanotechnology and Microfluidics. Dr. Kalangi have published his research in the area of drug discovery, Nano therapeutics, Eicosanoids, cancer and inflammation. Dr. Kalangi have received International visiting research scholar’s grant to work in Institute of Pharmacy, Freie University Berlin. Germany (2011-2012). Serving as Editorial member for peer reviewed international journals in the area of Microbiology.


As an interdisciplinary researcher with focus on Nano-Pharmacology/ toxicology along-side on Inflammation & cancer aiming to develop new drug molecule/ devices /platforms for drug discovery. On the other hand, also working for host pathogen interactions to develop new antimicrobial agents/carriers and diagnostics. Dr. Kalangi was graduated in Biochemistry and completed Masters in Animal Biotechnology from University of Hyderabad, India.
