 Biography

After my Master of Science in 2005, I worked at International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA). In 2008, I left IITA to pursue my PhD studies at both Purdue University, USA and University of Abomey-Calavi and I obtained my PhD in 2013. That same year I started lecturing at University of Abomey-calavi to present. In 2008 and 2009, I was at AVRDC, The World Vegetable Center in Taiwan where I carried out parts of my PhD work. In 2015 and 2016, I did my postdoctoral Research on “Transcriptomic Analysis of Tomato Tolerant and Sensitive Parents and Segregating F3 Lines under High Salt Treatment Using RNA High Throughput Sequencing” at Purdue University, West Lafayette, India State, USA. I am a reviewer in many scientific journals relating to Agriculture and life sciences. I have been appointed as editor of Journal of Agriculture and Ecology Research International. I am currently a Principal Investigators of 2 international projects. I am also member of academic societies.

 Research Interest

My research interest is to understand physiological and molecular mechanisms of tolerance to abiotic such as drought, flooding, salinity and temperature and biotic stresses such as Ralstonia solanacerum, Fusarium spp with particular focus on physiological parameters and genes governing their tolerance.
