 Biography

Satyam Prakash is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at Janaki Medical College Teaching Hospital, Tribhuvan University, Nepal and involved in teaching MBBS students since 2011. He is also working as visiting faculty of Nursing Science in Biochemistry at Krishna Medical and Technical Research Center, Purbanchal University, Nepal and 2 other universities in laboratory science and Dental Science. He has completed his post graduate in Biochemistry from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, India and is continuing his Ph.D. in the department of Biochemistry at Singhania University, Rajasthan, India. He has received the Certificate of Faculty Development Training for Medical Science Teaching by Medical Examination Unit of Institute of Medicine (IOM); Maharajgung; Tribhuvan University; Nepal and also registered in Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC). He is also member of Nepalese Association of Clinical Chemistry (NACC) in Nepal. He is an editorial board member, reference Editor and reviewer in many national and international journals and associated with platform of intellectuals “Think Tank Foundation, Jorpati, Kathmandu, Nepal”. He is actively involved in quality controlling of Biochemistry laboratory at Local Hospitals of Janakpurdham. He has published his research work in many National and International journals and highly motivated and enthusiastic towards the development of Biochemistry and Nutrition at different health sectors and academic institutions in Nepal.

Satyam Prakash intrest includes Clinical Enzymology; Clinical Biochemistry; Diagnostic Biochemistry; Clinical research on diseases; Communicable and non-communicable Diseases; Food and Nutrition; Molecular Cloning techniques; Biochemical Disorders in Human diseases; Public health Research; Policy Research; Medicinal Chemistry; Microbial Research; Quality Control and implementation.
