 Biography

My current main research program focuses on understanding the mechanisms of stem cell therapy, mitochondrial transplantation and preimplantation genetic treatment. I have centered my investigations on these fields. First, my research focuses on the mechanism on how the embryos implanted into uterine wall and what makes some embryos to be arrested. Second, my research examines the causes of infertility in both males and females (i.e. Azoospermic males and Premature Ovarian Failure females) how to find methods for treatment of these cases as well as mitochondrial transfer for the cases recorded with multiple fertilization failure. Also, I mentor and direct several research projects in multidisciplinary clinical fields. Third, using the approved gene therapy techniques (CRISPER/cas9) to treat embryos with mutations avoiding communities from more handicappers.
