Biography
Dr Shadab Ahmed currently works as Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacology, University of Karachi, Pakistan. He has got his Bachelor’s degree with first class second position in the year 2002 and his Masters in the field of Pharmacology in 2007 from the same institution with distinction.
before joining Academia, he has served as hospital pharmacist in The Aga Khan University Hospital which is the most prestigious tertiary care hospital of Pakistan. It was followed by extensive professional experience of about 10 years in the field of Pharmaceutical Production and Product Development. He has joined University of Karachi in the year 2012 and involved in theoretical and practical aspects of Pharmacy and Pharmacology education.
in the year 2017, he got PhD in the field of pharmacology again with distinction. Apart from his involvement with undergrad teaching and research he has been supervising M.Phil, MS and PhD student since then.
He is also Member Editorial Board of Eurasian Journal of Medicine and Oncology EJMO and Pharmacology Newsline (Departmental Newsletter), an HEC Certified Master Trainer, Faculty Professional Development Program and Patron, Pharmacy Sports Club, KUPSC.
