Preparing Your Manuscript


Over View:

Scientia Ricerca encourages authors from all over the world to contribute their innovative research and findings. The contents submitted to Scientia Ricerca enjoy more visibility and are peer reviewed too. Authors are requested to submit their manuscripts, based on the following format which is used to review more easily by Editorial Board members or can use Manuscript Template as your reference.

Manuscript requires each element as in the below list.

Beginning Section - Title, Author(s) affiliations, Abstract, Keywords, Abbreviations, Introduction.
Middle Section - Materials and Methods, Results, Discussions, Conclusions.
Ending Section - Acknowledgments, References.
Other elements - Tables and Figures.

Preparing manuscript and supporting information

File format - Files in DOC, DOCX or RTF formats are acceptable for the main manuscript document and editable files are required for article processing i.e., Word documents should not be protected.

Font - Scientia Ricerca accepts articles with a standard font and a standard font size.

Length - There are no restrictions on length, word count, number of figures, or amount of supporting information in the manuscript. So that, we encourage to discuss and present your findings concisely.

Headings - Make sure heading levels are clearly indicated in the manuscript text. Limit manuscript sections and sub-sections in 3 heading levels.

Abbreviations - Give abbreviations upon first appearance in the text. Keep abbreviations to a minimum and do not use non-standard abbreviations unless that they appear at least three times in the text.

Layout - Manuscript text must be double-spaced and should not format text in multiple columns.

Page Numbers – Please mention the page numbers in the manuscript.

Line Numbers – Add the line numbers in the margin along side of each line of the document.

Footnotes – In Manuscript, footnotes are not permitted. In case of your manuscript contains footnotes, move the necessary information into the main text.

Language - Manuscripts that are submitted to Scientia Ricerca must be in English.

Reference style - Scientia Ricerca uses “Vancouver” style.

Parts of a Preparing Your Manuscript

Title
The title of the Manuscript should be specific and suitable to the topic. Please avoid using the abbreviations in Manuscript title and present the title as capitalize each word (all the words except prepositions, articles and conjunctions). All species/botanical names should be represented in italics.

Author Names and Affiliations

Please provide complete names of all the authors and the name of corresponding author should be represented with asterisk (*). Also, please provide Name, Affiliation, E-mail, Tel and Fax of the corresponding author.

Regarding Affiliation details, you are requested to include Department, University/Organisation, City, State and Country for all authors.

Abstract and Keywords

Abstract is the section that introduces the article and it should not exceed 350 words. It should summarise the main content in a brief. Please do not include any citations and avoid using abbreviations if possible.

You are requested to provide a minimum of 4-6 keywords for the purpose of indexing.

Abbreviations

All abbreviations should be defined under the heading of abbreviations.

Tables

Please include all the tables in the text at the end of the article with appropriate captions.

Acknowledgements

People, who contributed to the work but are not authors, should be listed in the acknowledgements part, along with their contributions. Authors have to ensure that everyone whose name is included in the acknowledgements does not have any objection to include their name in the acknowledgement part of that particular manuscript.

References

Please include only the published manuscripts as a references for your manuscript. Authors are requested to provide sequential list of references at the end of the text.

And the content should be unique, original and the paper should not be submitted in any journal. The cover letter should include the names and signature of the co authors of the paper stating that the article has not been published elsewhere or communicated for the purpose of any other publication apart from Scientia Ricerca.
