Dr. Guo-Xin Ni is professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, First Affiliated Hospital, Fujian Medical University. He received his Bachelor degree at Tongji Medical University, Master degree in The Third Military Medical University, and Ph.D at The University of Hong Kong. He received post doctoral training at University of Sydney, National University of Singapore, and University of Ulm. Dr. Ni holds memberships of several international and national orthopaedic and related research organizations, including the International Chinese Hard Tissue Society (ICHTS), Chinese Orthopaedic Research Society (CORS), Chinese Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. As a Humboldtian, he has received a number of research awards, such as ‘Australian Endeavour Award’, ‘Fujian Young Scientist Award’. He has published 5 book chapters and about 80 publications in Chinese and English, including Biomaterials, Journal of Orthopaedic Research, Arthritis Research & Therapy, Osteoarthritis and Cartilage.
His research interests include sports medicine, osteoarthritis, and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
