Kieran Hirpara is an Irish trained Orhtopaedic Surgeon. He underwent undergraduate medical training in Galway, Ireland, where he graduated in 2002. He commenced his orthoapaedic specialist training in 2008, and was awarded his Orthopaedic Fellowship in 2012. His specialist interest is surgery og the upper limb, particularly hand surgery. To this end he has completed 3 years of fellowship in upper limb surgery in Manchester, UK and Brisbane, Australia. He has an extensive research record, with a Higher Degree by thesis, as well as 25 publications in peer reviewed journals and numerous national and international presentations.
His research interests include biomechanics, tendon repairs and shoudler surgery.
