 Biography

Dr. Jantz is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Vice-Chief for Clinical Affairs in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Florida. He is the director of the interventional pulmonology program and co-director of the thoracic oncology program at the University of Florida. Dr. Jantz completed his medical school at the University of Washington. Following his residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington, Dr. Jantz completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Jantz’s areas of interest are thoracic oncology and interventional pulmonology. Dr. Jantz has served on the American College of Chest Physicians committee for the development and writing of lung cancer diagnosis, staging, and treatment guidelines. Dr. Jantz has also served on the Board of Directors for the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology.
