Shigong Guo qualified in medicine from the University of Bristol Medical School in the UK and is a Specialty Registrar in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery on the Northwest London Rotation currently based at Hillingdon Hospital. After graduation, Dr Guo undertook core surgical training in Bristol (Severn) Deanery where he was nominated for Core Surgical Trainee of the Year 2010/11.During this time, he also obtained Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) of Edinburgh and underwent postgraduate research training in biomechanics at Cardiff University, UK, for which he was awarded a MSc (with Merit) in Orthopaedic Engineering. Dr Guo has also published widely in peer reviewed journals both in orthopaedic clinical practice and research. As a result of his clinical and academic training, Dr Guo has a keen interest the biomechanical aspects of orthopaedics and its effects in clinical practice and rehabilitation.
His research interest include Biomechanics, Orthopaedic Engineering, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation.
