Agronomist engineering graduated at the University of Brasilia, specialized in Molecular Biology from UNB, master's degree in Genome Sciences and Biotechnology at the Catholic University of Brasilia and a PhD in Molecular Pathology at UNB. Currently researcher at Embrapa - Brazil. Coordinator of Passitec networks "Technological development for functional use of wild Passiflora" and Arrangement "Use and valuation of Brazilian Passiflora". Management international agreement: Embrapa CEPASS Colombia - SAIC / AJU 10200.13 n / 0006-9. Executive Secretary of the Regional Federal District of the Brazilian Society of Food Science and Technology (SBCTA-DF). Conducts research in the field of characterization of species using molecular DNA markers, search for genes of industrial interest, nutrigenomics, environmental influence on the expression of bioactives, characterization of phytochemicals and coordinates studies in the product development area from fruits of biodiversity, safety and efficacy of functional foods. She is a teacher of Molecular Biology in the disciplines Cell I and Cell II in the course of Medicine Faculty Athens (MG) and integrates the medical ethics committees and veterinary medical ethics in the same college. Also taught the disciplines Genetics, Genetic Resources Conservation and Molecular Biology in Medicine courses Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at other institutions. As head of Passitec Network received the awards: National Embrapa teams - Technical Quality (2011), Local Teams - Technical Quality (2011), Engineering Brazil - Honorable Mention - Sustainable Agriculture and Biotechnology (2011). As responsible for actions in project and team member, also received the Embrapa National team awards - Technical Quality (2010) and Creativity (2010) and Roche awards Incentive Research (1996) and Carlos Chagas (1998), by doctoral work. Acts as evaluative research projects of macroprograms Embrapa and FAPDF and publications in indexed journals.
