Biography
Dr Ruchi Pathak Kaul is a maxillofacial surgeon and implantologist. Presently she is working as a Women Scientist Fellow, in the premiere institute of her country, Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre (JPNATC), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
She have now been here for almost 2 years,She also have operated on maxillofacial injuries in the trauma surgical unit. She have also done Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course from our institute. Besides trauma surgery she have done one year course of implantology from American academy of implant dentistry (AAID), USA and awaiting their fellowship.
Besides surgical aspect, she have been crucial part as an organizing committee member in the world trauma congress held on 18-19-20 August 2016.she have presented various oral papers and posters in different conferences. she have published almost 7 papers in different journals as well while few more are in review.
She carrying out a project as Primary Investigator for the project titled –“To evaluate Results of Soft Tissue Reconstruction and Augmentation with Structural Fat Grafting in Patients with Post Traumatic Facial Disfigurementâ€. This project has been honoured and accepted by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi and is being financially funded for an amount of 28 Lakhs.
Research Interest
Her research interest includes maxillofacial reconstruction, stem cell applications, adipose tissue in reconstruction, growth factors & their role and maxillofacial trauma surgery.
