Biography
Dr. Francio started his medical education in Brazil and completed his training in the United States. Currently, he practices integrative spine care, orthopedics, musculoskeletal medicine and pain management, in an interdisciplinary collaborative fashion.
Dr. Francio is a staff physician at Variety Care and at Essential Integrative Health, in Oklahoma City, OK and his practice is focused on physical musculoskeletal manual medicine, rehabilitation and prolotherapy.
Dr Francio’s interest include: Orthopedic Surgery, PM&R, and Pain Management and his orthobiologic regenerative medicine and alternatives to opioids for integrative pain management. Dr. Francio is very active in clinical research, and he is on the editorial board and peer-review committee of several medical journals worldwide, including the Spine Journal (Brazil), the Journal of Orthopedics, Journal of Medical Case Reports, ACCRAC Panel, the British Medical Journal BMJ Case Reports to name a few. Dr. Francio has published in national and international Medline indexed journals and lectured in national and international conferences, mostly in Brazil and US.
