 Biography

Dr. Badrinarayan Mishra is presently working as a senior professor in community medicine, ‘member academic council’ and member research advisory committee at Ruxmaniben Deepchand Gardi Medical College, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. He graduated in ’medicine’ (1988) and did his post graduation in ‘preventive and social medicine’(1998) from the prestigious Shri Ramachandra Bhanj Medical College, Odisha(Orissa) state in India. During his service carrier he has shouldered many responsibilities like serving as director for ‘centre for social medicine’, ‘scientific advisory board member’ for ‘Pravara Medical review’, ‘member of academic council’ and ‘member of board of studies for Community medicine and allied subjects’ at Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Deemed university, Loni, Maharashtra, India. Presently he is associated as editorial board member, with over a dozen of top notched indexed journals with international credibility like IJPSM, Studies on Ethno-medicine, Open Journal of Preventive Medicine (OJPM), JoARMST, Nutrition & Food Sciences, American Journal of Health Research(AJHR) and International journal of student research(IJSR), Advances in Nutrition & Food Science, to name a few. He has developed e-learning modules for ARCADE, RSDH (Building sustainable capacity for health research in Africa and Asia) an EU project. On average he reviews over 3 articles a month from reputed international journals of high calibre:- European Journal of Public health, Journal of public health and epidemiology, ‘Psychological Report’ of Ammos Scientific USA, ‘Journal of Public health’ of Oxford Group, JOD (Journal of Diabetology), ‘Insight Knowledge’ from UK, JDRD(Journal of diabetes and related disorders) from Elyn Groups, Educational research journal etc. He is a sitting member to “Asian Council of Scientific Editors” and ‘Geneva foundation of medical education and research’.
