 Biography

Dr. Monalisa Mohanty is currently working as Assistant Professor in Botany at Dhenkanal Autonomous college, Utkal University, Odisha, India. Dr Mohanty received his Doctoral degree or PhD on May’ 2010, from the University of Utkal University, India. Dr Mohanty completed her Masters in Science (Botany) from the University of Utkal University, India. He then worked at the Institute Post Graduate Department of Botany, Utkal University, India, served as Assistant Professor in the University from 2010-2012. Dr. Mohanty has authored several publications in various journals and books. His publications reflect his research interests in Bioremediation technology with special reference to Phytoremediation technology and Plant Stress Physiology in response to various heavy metals. Dr. Mohanty is also an Advisory Board Member of the Journal “Journal of Toxicology Research”, An International Journal, Bioinfo Publications. Dr. Mohanty is serving as a member in Association of “Indian Science Congress Association”, “National Environmental Science Academy”, New Delhi, Orissa Botanical Society, Orissa, India. He is currently in research of ongoing project works of M.Sc. students. Dr. Mohanty is honored by Junior Scientist of the Year, 2011 by National Environmental Science Academy.
