Dr. Haroon Majeed graduated from King Edward Medical College, Lahore in 2000 and he did his internship in Surgery and Medicine at Mayo Hospital, which is the largest hospital in public sector in Pakistan. He moved to the UK in 2003 and started my surgical career from Southern General Hospital Glasgow. He obtained membership into The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2007. Dr. Haroon Majeed obtained further experience in higher surgical training in Trauma and Orthopaedics while working at Royal Derby Hospital, University Hospitals of Nottingham and University Hospitals of North Midlands, which are the two largest major trauma centres in the UK. He is currently working as a Senior Fellow in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Wrightington Hospital, a well-known centre of excellence for Orthopaedic surgery in the UK. This is BOA accredited fellowship as a part of clinical leaders programme for 12 months. Dr. Haroon Majeed obtained degree in Masters of Science in Trauma and Orthopaedics from the University of Salford Manchester in 2015. He have been awarded the fellowships of European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology and The Royal College of Surgeons of England in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2016. Dr. Haroon Majeed have a keen interest in orthopaedic research. He had published seventeen papers in various journals and contributed in book chapters. He also had presented his research work at both national and international levels on more than forty occassions. Dr. Haroon Majeed is on reviewer panel of various orthopaedic journals and regularly review research work from other surgeons.
