 Biography

Currently, Dr. Karthick Thangavel is working as a Post-Doctoral Researcher (Dr.D.S.Kothari Fellow) in Department of Physics, University of Lucknow, Lucknow, India. His current research is mainly focusing on the vibrational spectroscopic signatures and theoretical spatial conformations of anti-cancer drugs, pharmaceutical co-crystals, and liquid crystals. He interested in the study of the intramolecular interactions and the interactions of the molecule with protein complexes through combined experimental studies and theoretical computations. He has completed his Ph.D. in Physics from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tamil Nadu, India. He has nine years of teaching and seven years of research experience in the above-mentioned field of interest. He has published 20 publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals. He has attended many international conferences in India and as well as in aboard as oral and invited speaker. He is a Life Time member of Indian Society for Technical Education since August 2013. He is acting as an Editorial board member of EC Toxicology and Pharmacology Journal since January 2017. He has been a peer reviewer in reputed journals like Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy (Elsevier) and JSciMed Central- JSM Chemistry.
