He was born in Turkey on 1980. He graduated from Ondokuz Mayıs University, Department of Food Engineering. After He finished his MSc thesis on Ice-cream, he was appointed to the Central Fisheries Research Institute, Trabzon, Turkey as Researcher. He has worked as technical editor for the SCI Index Journal of the Institute between 2011-2015. He has been working as a managing editor of this journal since 2015. He is also the founding and managing editor of another international journal founded in 2017. His PhD thesis is about the Oxidative Stability of Microencapsulated Fish Oil. He is engaged in various projects in the processing of aquatic products.
