Mr. Ahmed is a Ph.D. scholar at College of Agronomy & Biotechnology, China Agriculture University, at Beijing, China. The central theme of his research is stress physiology more specifically working on cereal crops (wheat and rice). Mr. Ahmed is performing scientific research from last ten years. His research work has been published in peer-reviewed international as well in national research journals.
Mr. Ahmed has to write couple booklets in the local language (Sindhi) for the local farming community to enhance their crop production, which is the ultimate goal of development sector. Mr. Ahmed worked in a variety of positions, as training coordinator, Agriculture officer, Agriculture training officer, and Research director. Mr. Ahmed attended various workshops on water saving techniques, field crop technology, advances in stress physiology, Watershed management and irrigation improvement in Rainfed areas. Mr. Ahmed holds various professional and scientific committee memberships.
Mr. Ahemd research includes field crop research, Abiotic stress tolerance of cereals crops, the physiological and biochemical behavior of the plants under water stress, proteomic changes during oxidative stress, the role of osmoprotectant under water deficit condition.
