Biography
My first degree is in Zoology and post graduation in Marine biology.I obtained my Doctorate in Marine Biology.Iam having 24 years of teaching experience in various universities including India and Ethiopia.I am teaching Aquatic ecology,Aquaculture and fisheries and engaged in research focussing on integrated fish farming especially rice, vegetables ,azolla and duckweeds. Published 29 research papers and edited two manuals on aquaculture. I am serving as reviewer for Advanced journal of Agricultural Science,International journal of Aquaculture, World journal of Agricultural sciences and Journal of science and sustainable development. I was the Editor of Proceedings of International conference on Fisheries and Aquaculture (2011) organized by Ambo university and Journal of Recent Trends in Biosciences, India.
Research Interest
Her Research Interests are Fish Nutrition, Aquatic ecology, Planktonology, Benthic ecology, Sea weeds, Fish post- harvest technology, Fish quality Control, Integrated Fish farming and fish biology.
