 Biography

Dr. Erna Judith Roach has completed her PhD from Manipal University, Karnataka, India. She is specialized in Child Health Nursing. She is currently working as Assistant professor in the Department of Maternal and Child Health at College of Nursing, Sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate of Oman. She was the Assistant Dean for Postgraduate studies and Research at College of Nursing, Sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate of Oman from September 2014 to August 2017. She is on the editorial board and also a reviewer for various scientific journals. Dr. Roach has authored and co-authored a number of scientific peer reviewed manuscripts. She is a member of many professional organizations including (but not limited to) the Sigma Theta Tau International, USA; Oman Cancer Association, Oman; National League for Nurses, USA, and Women in science: panel of Indian Academy of Sciences, India. She has presented research papers at various international conferences and has also been a guest speaker at various national and international conferences.
