Dr. Gyanendra Singh has qualified NET-CSIR, NET-ASRB and GATE examinations and earned his Ph.D in Toxicology from Central Drug Research Institute in 2006 where he established an in-vitro test system for teratogenicity screening of drugs and compounds by using whole embryo culture method coupled with some biological end points. He later moved to USA for pursuing postdoctoral research in areas of Molecular and Cancer Biology at LSU Health Sciences Center, New Orleans, LA and K-State University, Manhattan, KS, USA respectively. He is an expert in Toxicology and Molecular Biology that can be evident from his publications (> 26) appeared in Journal of Virology, PLoS One, PLoS Pathogens and Journal of Biological Chemistry etc. Presently he is a Scientist at National Institute of Occupational Health (ICMR), Ahmedabad. Because of his expertise in the field, he has also been asked to serve as an Editor-In- Chief of the Journal of Metabolomics and Systems Biology as well as Associate Editor of Universal Journal of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics respectively. He has been in the editorial board member of repute journals of international fame and has reviewed and edited in a good number. His research contributions have been appeared in several international magazines and newsletters. He has been honored with "Young Scientist Award" from Association of Biotechnology & Pharmacy in 2015 and very recently received “Prof. GP Talwar Young Scientist Award†in 2017 at New Delhi. He has also been awarded with ‘International Fellowship’ to attend International Training on Environmental Toxicology in 2016 at Chulabhorn Research Institute, Bangkok, Thailand.
