Biography
Dr.Muzafar Ahmad Rather obtained the doctorate degree in Biochemistry from CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Srinagar, India in 2018. He gained his M.Phil in nanotechnology based drug delivery system for tuberculosis (TB) from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, India. Dr. Rather obtained M.Sc. in biochemistry from Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University), New Delhi, India. His research interests are focussed on the search for new TB drugs from sources which include but are not limited to natural, synthetic and semisynthetic origins. During Ph.D. the core focus of his research was on new chemical entities for TB drug development. Dr. Rather presented papers in several national and international conferences. Dr. Rather has authored more than 15 publication of high repute and is an active member in the editorial board of several journals.
