 Biography

Experienced Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, with an extensive research experience in pathogen biology working across Leishmania donovani, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Entamoeba histolytica. Expertise in the field of Protein Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Structural biology, worked as Post-doctoral Fellow at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal. During my tenure as an institutional post doctoral fellow and working as a DST-SERB Young Scientist, I have been involved in teaching BS and MS students from diverse backgrounds of biological science of the respective institutes. I have been the internal guide supervising the PhD students in their projects. I gave significant contribution towards taking the tutorials of Structural biology Bio 402/602. Strong education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused in Biophysics and Structural Biology from CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow. Primary focus of my research is to understand the structure-function relationships of soluble proteins of biological importance.
