Biography
Dr.Bagath is a scientist at Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) - National Institute of animal Nutrition and Physiology (NIANP), adugodi Bangalore for the past nine years. He finished his M.V.Sc and Ph.D from Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Bareilly UP, India, in the field of Animal Biotechnology. He was recipient of Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) - junior research fellowship in 2003 and Senior Research Fellowship in 2009. He cleared ICAR National Eligibility Test in the year 2009 in the field of Animal Biotechnology and got posting as scientist at NIANP. From then he is working in the field of rumen biotechnology, stress physiology, Animal Nutrition and immunity. He has 28 international papers and 12 international book chapters. He has received 17 awards and has organised 6 training programmes.
Research Interest
Dr.Bagath interest lies in conducting high quality research in the field of climate change and livestock production and their immunity during various stress and treatment conditions.
